All uploaded files and processed conversions are permanently and irreversibly deleted from our cloud servers within 1 hour of processing. We do not inspect, catalog, or keep any backups of user media.

All data transferred between your browser and SnapConvert servers is secured using bank-grade 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption. No third parties can intercept or view your data.

2. Zero Account Requirement & Zero Tracking

SnapConvert is 100% free to use without registration. We do not require your email, name, phone number, or payment information. We never sell, monetize, or share your data with advertisers.

3. Client-Side Browser Conversions

Where supported (such as modern HEIC decoding and image compression), file processing occurs directly inside your local web browser using WebAssembly. In these cases, your files never even leave your device!
